The Don't Come bet
The way the “Don't Come” bet works is the same as the “Don't Pass” bet. Indeed, the players place their bet against other people's bets. The “Don't Come” bet consists in playing against the dice.
It is a rather risky bet which is made as follows, once the point is determined for the Pass line bet:
- If the combination is a 7 or an 11, the player loses.
- If the combination equals 2 or 3, the bet is won. With this strategy, if the 12 appears it's a push (draw), as is the case with the “Don't Pass” bet.
- If the combination equals 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, the result becomes the Come point.
- The player wins if number 7 appears before the Come point is made again. Conversely, the player loses their bet.
